  • HARNESS THE POWER OF VOICE

Collect, manage, analyze, and share testimonials and first-person autobiographical experiences at a scale otherwise impossible to manage manually.

We work with truth commissions, community libraries, oral history projects, nonprofit organizations, philanthropies, and others committed to listening to their constituents or members.

  • HOW MEMRIA WORKS

MEMRIA uses the power of voice to help our partners further their missions. Our tools allow partners to capture and use "feedback stories" from people who have had direct experiences.

    Request and Record

Clients create a Project and invite participants via email invite, social media, or a direct link. Participants (called Storytellers) record audio or write, preview, and submit their story and, if they choose, upload relevant photographs. Participants can choose to not display their name.

    Curate and Analyze

Clients review and publish select feedback stories to their public project page. Clients can get transcripts for selected audio recordings; create audio clips; organize an tag materials; and upload additional audio or photographs.

    Share and Distribute

Post feedback stories directly to Facebook and Twitter or use the story URL in an email newsletter. A "mini player" can be embedded into other content such as a blog post or website, or download audio clips and compile them into a podcast.

  • WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

“Memria cuts across this year’s Summit themes – ‘Equity and Inclusion’ and ‘Carrots, Sticks, and Tools’ – as a tool that enables organizations, institutions and social enterprises to literally hear the voices of people they may not otherwise be able to hear because of distance, cost, or power dynamics. Collecting these stories created a space for all feedback community voices to be heard.”

  • WHO USES MEMRIA

Everyone wants to collect and use feedback, for a wide range of reasons.

Memria helps our partners use feedback stories strategically and efficiently.

    Corporations

Companies use Memria to capture the voices of their customers or evaluate programs in a way that is more authentic and revealing than traditional surveys and more efficient than focus groups.

    NGO's

Social justice organizations increasingly need to reflect the voices and experiences of their communities in order to achieve societal change.

    Alumni Associations

Alumni Associations can use Memria to send out a call for stories across the alumni network and collect hundreds or even thousands of audio recorded or written stories with the click of a button.

    Political Organizations

Political organizations use Memria to hear directly from constituents in their own voices on key platform issues. Clips from stories can be integrated into existing media campaigns and outreach.

    Educators

Educators use Memria to record and share the voices of their students and their communities, making the learning experience more real.

    Libraries and Archives

Libraries and Historical Societies are key repositories of local history and collective memory. Memria helps them engage community members to become part of a living archive.
